COO UPSTREAM, NNPC LAUDS NETCO FOR A GOOD JOB

The Chief Operating Officer, Upstream, NNPC, Engr. Rabiu Bello has commended the National Engineering and Technical Company Limited (NETCO) for the historical milestones recorded since its inception in 1989.

 Speaking recently during a business visit to the company in Lagos, Engr. Bello said it was gratifying to note that NETCO has become a major force in building capacity in the oil and gas sector of the nation’s economy.

 

He stressed the need for the company to continue to play its role as a reputable company in fulfilling the Federal Government desire at domesticating capacity in the oil and gas through the local content policy.

Engr. Bello promised that NNPC will continue to support NETCO to keep the company busy as much as possible.

 

Speaking in a welcome address, NETCO Managing Director, Engr. Siky Aliyu expressed the gratitude of the Management and staff of the company to the COO, Upstream, NNPC for the support he has been giving to NETCO and appealed for more to keep the company afloat.

He said with constant support, NETCO will play a leading role to fulfill the desire of setting the company up.

 

Engr. Bello was later taken round NETCO project areas by NETCO Managing Director, Engr. Siky Aliyu accompanied by Executive Director Operations, Engr. Mustapha Yakubu and retired Executive Director Services, Mrs. Bolanle Ashafa.
